About:
This is a Reader application supporting the 1992 PC  software
"Last Chance To See", published by Voyager.
If you're running current macOS versions, this Reader simply replaces the original application available on these CD-ROMs.

Hints:

• For faster access copy the CD-ROMs content onto the documents folder of your hard disk drive. The first time you run a chapter, the Reader will ask for permission to access your documents folder.
• When opening Sidebar window, the application may ask for Accessibility to open VLC to  play the sidebar audio files.

Hard drive disk access privileges: 
At the time you set the folder to let the application to read from, you'll be prompted about.

Playing sidebar audio files:
If you're browsing the PC version of "Last Chance To See", parts of the audio files included on the original CD-ROM needs to be played by VLC. The "Last Chance To See" Reader tries to automatically detect the VLC Media player, if it is installed in your applications folder. Otherwise, you can set its path in the Preferences window.

Grab the Easy Setup file and extract it with your favourited Unarchiver or Keka application, move the resulted folders ("CHAPTER1" to "CHAPTER7", and "COMMON") either to your Documents folder or somewhere to your hard disk drives, then browse the Last Chance To See Reader Preferences to that folder.

Grab it from there and just mount the CD images, set the Preferences to read from CD directly.
